What Colophon collects

No accounts, no analytics

There's no account to create, so there's nothing tied to an identity to collect. Colophon has no analytics vendor and no advertising network built in, and it doesn't watch how you use the app to report back anywhere.

Diagnostics stay on your device

If the app crashes, Apple's on-device MetricKit hands Colophon a diagnostic report — but it stays on the device, shown to you in Settings, and nothing is sent anywhere automatically. If you want to help fix a problem, you can choose to attach a report to a support email; otherwise it never leaves your device. There's no crash-reporting service phoning home in the background.

The Privacy Manifest

Colophon ships Apple's required Privacy Manifest declaring no developer data collection and no tracking, a claim Apple's App Store review checks mechanically rather than takes on faith.
