Getting started

Read comfortably

Reading themes

Open the Read inspector — or the compact More menu on iPhone — and pick how the desk around the page looks: System, Day, Night, or Sepia. The page itself always stays light, the way paper does; only the surrounding interface changes. Your choice applies everywhere in the app.

Display modes

The same control switches how pages are laid out: a single page at a time, a continuous scroll, or fit-to-width. Pick whichever suits the document — a form reads best one page at a time, a long report wants the continuous scroll.

Reflow view

On a small screen, even fit-to-width can mean squinting at a two-column layout. The reflow lens rewrites the current page as plain wrapped text you can actually read on iPhone: headings stay headings, columns are straightened out, and pages photographed without a text layer are read with on-device text recognition first. It never changes the document — close the lens and the page is exactly as it was.
